Mobile Outreach Coordinator – Southern Nevada
The Mobile Outreach Coordinator is responsible for functions related to awareness of CARE Chest programs in Southern Nevada and surrounding communities. The goal is to increase new and existing consumer participation and consumer referrals to CARE Chest by health care providers, clinics, social service and other human service agencies.
The Mobile Outreach Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating the operation of the CARE Chest mobile unit, which will provide direct monthly program services in rural and urban locations in Southern Nevada.
Responsibilities and Authorities
Implement and manage an outreach plan that identifies and targets key referral sources for new and repeat clients;
Develop and manage relationships with referral sources including hospital/clinic discharge staff, social service/human service agencies, and managers to increase awareness of agency mission and brand;
Coordinate details of mobile unit including scheduling, delivery of program services, conduct outreach, identify new partnerships and collaborations, evaluate mobile service delivery effectiveness on an ongoing basis;
Distribute collateral regularly throughout the communities served;
Assist in representing agency at community events, trade fairs, in media interviews and other area functions;
Accept donations of medical equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
Outgoing, energetic, and professional
Organized, detail-oriented
Excellent communication and computer skills, including Excel and Word proficiency
Compassionate, empathetic, and caring attitude
College degree in human services preferred, or some post-secondary education
Bilingual – Spanish-speaking
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
